Welcome to ERP Fundamentals. This module introduces the course you are about to take.
As your instructor, I’ll guide you through ERP fundamentals using presentations or walkthroughs and hands-on exercises. We will be looking at the Financials First account and a profile of our fictitious company. We’ll use basic navigation and learn NetSuite terminology. We will examine the ERP business processes, user tasks, and the NetSuite analytics. Finally, we’ll also leverage off the existing tools and resources that are available.
What are the course goals? We want to help answer some common questions for new Financials First customers. What has been enabled and defined to facilitate ERP functionality? What are the leading practices for each of the key processes?
Are specific roles designed for completing relevant tasks? What about measuring performance of our various business processes? Can we stay on top of our financials? How do we enable our users and drive the user adoption?
