Welcome to inventory costing.
Our course goals, upon completion of this course, you should be able to set up items, assign a proper item costing, and then track costs associated with the goods and services you sell. Our course objectives are to choose the appropriate items based on their behaviors for your products and MROs, be able to define the various inventory types, when to use them, to set up your items with all of the key attributes, to select appropriate costing methods for those items that you’re going to be using, as well as describe how the costing calculates item costs. You should also be able to identify transactions and fields that trigger the costing engine. And finally, you should have a good understanding of how the costing engine works.
